The team at Access Care have been very supportive of my Dad's care needs over the last year and have introduced us to some lovely, professional and highly skilled live-in carers. The office team have always been responsive to any questions along the way and have made what was initially a daunting situation for all of us much easier. My Mum has enjoyed the company of the carers and the whole family has been delighted that Dad was able to stay in his own home.

What an amazing team of people! Thank you Access Care. You were recommended to us in 2018 and we never looked back. You made it possible for us to care for Mum who was suffering from Alzheimers, at home with us, until she sadly passed away last month at the age of 93. From the outset you understood the need to find the right carer. You gave the support when needed, stayed in touch constantly checking that all was well and were always at the end of the phone to listen. It is a huge challenge but also a privilege to be able to care for your loved ones at home. It was only made possible by your constant support and supply of lovely experienced carers. Thank you to Jo and Melanie and all the team at Access Care.

When my wonderful 98 year old mum needed live-in care following a fall and breaking her second hip in September 2020, it was a huge relief to be able to find a carer for her through the Access Care office team who I work with. Their caring support has been priceless to me. Mummy has had her lovely carer, Cate, for 2 and a quarter years now, introduced through Access Care, and she loves her so much and simply wouldn't be without her. When Cate goes on a break Access Care finds another carer to cover. Mummy has had a number of carers now and gets excited to see who it's going to be this time! At the moment she has wonderful Emma who is so very attentive and bubbly. I went to see them this last weekend and they were having a great time. Mum is elderly and frail with short term memory loss and it means my sis, brother and I have complete peace of mind that she's being well looked after and ....having fun! She still has the best relationship with her long-term carer, Cate, who we all love. I truly know Access Care really cares! The proof is in the pudding!

Access Care were superb in finding us a lovely carer at short notice when my mother in law was taken to hospital leaving her husband, who had dementia, at home. The office staff are brilliant. They are friendly and attentive and keep in regular touch. I would completely recommend them if you need a live in carer for your loved ones.

I started using Access Care in 2019 to provide live-in care for our father who had Advanced dementia. I continued with Access Care for three years until my father passed away. During this time, I worked with the same advisor, Jo, the entire time. After meeting my father, the selection of carers she recommended were spot on. One carer stayed with us for over a year, and two other carers stayed with us for around two years working one month on/one month off. They were all truly lovely, caring women who I trusted completely. In the latter months, his care needs changed and I could not have asked for a kinder, more experienced woman to have cared for him in the last months of his life. Jo, called me weekly and over the three years, we shared the, at times, emotional journey of my Dad’s diminishing health together. I felt she truly understood my Dad’s personality and care needs and the type of carer that would work well with him. All our carers were a great match thanks to Jo and the quality of the carers. Agency fees are the price you pay for good care through a good agency. From day one, Jo always said that should a carer get sick, if something happened, or if for any reason the chemistry didn’t work, she was only a phone call away and would find a new carer immediately. This never had to be the case as all the carers were superb from day one but it was always incredibly reassuring knowing that ultimately, the responsibility for arranging Dad’s care was theirs not mine. I trusted Jo completely.

I last dealt with Access Care when my Mother - in -Law needed assistance, when I found everyone to be extremely helpful and the care provided by their team to be of a very high standard, so they were an obvious choice when I needed help with my own mother. The team could not have been more responsive to my request for urgent care when my mother came out of hospital . They provided a carer the following day , who was rather thrown in at the deep end and managed beautifully. We now have two wonderful carers on a rota who have worked with my mothers needs both emotionally and physically with great sensitivity, understanding and humour. The staff at Access Care are always very friendly and responsive and I could not recommend them more highly. They have been extremely safe hands for both my mother and mother in law. I’m so very glad I found them.

I have been using Access Care for over three years now to provide live in carers for my elderly mother who has Lewy Body Dementia. During that time they have provided a steady stream of carers when the care industry as a whole has struggled massively to provide even basic care. Melanie, Jo and the rest of the team have been a godsend and have bailed me out on many occasions. Often at short notice. The quality of the carers they have been providing has, for the most parts, been excellent. My mother needs day and night care, which involves two live in carers that is sometimes difficult to manage. Access Care have helped me get through managing the entire process and stepping in when problems have occurred. I have found them to be very approachable and personable, and are very easy to work with. Managing care needs for my mother has been quite difficult. Not because my mother is difficult to look after, but because the process itself is fraught with all sorts of worries and things that can happen. My mother lives an hours drive away from me. I have a young family that take up the majority of my spare time and I still have to hold down a job to make ends meet. The responsibility for my mother falls totally on my shoulders. I love her to bits and am doing everything I possibly can to keep her happy and healthy. Having the support of Access Care makes my life and my mother's life that much easier. I feel very lucky to have found a care agency I can trust and rely on to help me deal with my mothers care needs.

When Mum was 93 and we were out of options and needed an in home carer Access Care was the only agency within 80 miles that could help. Amazing caring service team provided wonderful, competent and caring in home carers. I thoroughly would recommend them. I worked most closely with Tahira and Jo -- such good people.
